WHAT COUNTRY I THAT?

After looking through a reference book on the various nations of the world, I came up with a couple of trivia questions to ask one of my friends. Calling him on the phone, I asked him, "What country has the third largest GNP in the world?"

"Africa," was his answer.

After explaining to him why that answer could not be correct, I went on to ask the next question anyway. "What country has the highest GNP per capita in the world?"

"South America."
