JUST A DOG

A friend of mine asked me to come and feed his dog while he was out of town. Instead of simply buying dog food for his dog, my friend creates this special mixture consisting of rice, vegetables, meat, etc., which is supposed to be better for him. When I fed the dog, I was not only to give him some of this special mixture, but I was also to put some oil on it, sprinkle some yeast on it, and then top it off with some artificial crabmeat that he happened to have on hand. When I remarked on the fact that the crabmeat was artificial, my friend responded by saying, "He's just a dog, for goodness sake!"
