SMALL CAR-POOLS PREFERRED

I recently drove on the interstate through Seattle, Washington and noticed that the extreme left lane on the freeway was limited to high occupancy vehicles, with a sign stating, "Buses and 2-person car pools only". I guess 3-person car pools are just out of luck!
