HOW MUCH WAS THAT?

I went to visit a motor coach builder located here in my area. I was fortunate enough to arrive just as a tour of the facility was about to take place, so I joined in. The tour was very interesting and informative and at the end of the tour we got to inspect some of their nearly-finished product. We marveled at the beautiful carriages with their plush interiors. At one point, when our tour guide stepped onto a motor home that a few of us were admiring, one of the men in the group suggested that this particular vehicle (I believe it was their top-of-the-line model) probably sold for $500,000 or more. "Oh no," responded our leader, "it is only about $476,000."

I'm glad he clarified that. Personally, I couldn't imagine spending a half million dollars on a luxury camper.
