After getting enough calls on my voice mail from people who spoke fast and sloppily I changed my voice mail message to include the statement, "I am a bit heard of hearing, so please be sure to speak slowly and enunciate clearly or I won't be able to return your call."

The next voice mail message I received was unintelligible.
